Social Media Killed the Blogging Star. Once upon a time I would write book reviews on my blog, but then I joined Goodreads. I blogged about my knitting projects, but then Ravelry became the thing among knitters. I would post photos of my family visits and outdoor adventures … until I joined Facebook. I used to read all kinds of blogs, from famous knitters and cooks to my family and friends. But then I would just scroll Facebook. (I haven’t even joined Instagram or Pinterest.) I guess that’s how it goes. Also, time has a way of changing us. Here are a few pages from my blog heyday, back in the Early 00’s. (Does anyone call them that? I sure do.)
