baby sweater & hat

A recent (and passionate) convert to the ancient art of knitting, I wanted to branch out beyond scarves, hats, and ponchos. A full-size sweater is a major investment in time and money, so for my first sweater I decided to go small.

Designed and knitted for Zoe Sophia, a family friend who was born in August 2005, the sweater was sized to fit her at 3 months, when the weather started getting cold.

Sweater construction adapted from "Baby's First Tattoo" by Delia Lam, in Stitch N Bitch Nation by Debbie Stoller.

Knitted in Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino, 55% Merino wool, 33% Microfibre, 12% Cashmere.
